The Intrigue of The Democratic Politicians

On Friday, February 15, 2019, CNN published an article named " The fight over Amazon is the fight for the future of the Democratic Party. " The report gives the information about politicians always put their interests above the interests of the public nowadays. Amazon brought by Democrats to New York, and they are still the ones who chased it away. Many American politicians always put their political interests above serving the community. Senior Democratic politicians who worked with corporations such as Amazon are facing stiff opposition by the upcoming politicians in trying to contain the businesses. Bill DeBlasio, the mayor of New York, is one of the forthcoming Democrats who associated with the Amazon mess. In his statement, Bill says that to make it in New York you must be adamant. He claims that he once gave an opportunity to Amazon to be work and do business in New York but threw the chance away. New York is a great city and was supposed to hold the Amazon headquarters but the young activists and politicians who sent it away. To bring the Amazon again, they were claiming to be given tax credits in exchange to the 25000 jobs they will offer to the public. Elizabeth Warren questions this calling it as an act of bribery and will be making the corporation to hold American democracy as a hostage (Wolf,2) At national level Democrats are backing up the need of federal government to offer job instead of wavering taxes to attract corporations such as Amazon. Politicians who succeed have different views as compared to the old democrats.
